A novelette FREE for your reading pleasure
In an email to a friend I recently touched upon the subject of the necessity of sometimes going out of ones normal writing voice and it got me thinking that there was a story I'd left behind somewhere a little while ago. I wrote this while I was reading something very clever and that may have inspired this story, or at least contributed to the voice in it which is a lot different from what I usually produce (I think).
I've labelled it a novelette as it's 10.900 words, which is a lot larger than I usually publish here. I'm not going to put it up as text on this page, but leave you with the eBook. If this is bothersome feel free to let me know and I'll gladly send you a different text file. In the meanwhile feel free to download the eBook here. It's hopefully something you will enjoy. And if you do read it I'd love it if you let me know what you think. I always like hearing what people think, but especially so with this one as it's (as I've said) very different from what I usually produce.
Here is THE STORY OF AYA AND THE UNICORN
Oh, and someone asked me to make it very clear to you that this is not a fairytale. It's not, at all, a fairytale.
I hope you enjoy, E
